Client: Chelsea Sugar Agency: Fly CD: Johnson McKay Design: Tanmay Desai Illustrations: Gary Covich To mark the 130th anniversary of Chelsea sugar, Chelsea wanted to launch a limited edition tin as a nod to the past. The brief for the tin design was to capture as much of the persona of the original golden syrup tin as possible. The type treatment on the tin & the P.O.S. displays was hence inspired from that of the late 1800s. Simplicity was the key but with a touch of the celebratory spirit to mark the occasion, brought in with flourishes like the curved typography & a ribbon on the front. Images © Fly Limited
