Airborne Honey is New Zealand’s oldest established honey brand. As a family-owned company it has a friendly ethos and reputation for honesty and reliability. The new visual identity, which includes a redesigned logo, communicates these values and reflects Airborne’s heritage, whilst establishing the brand as fresh and uniquely Kiwi.
Iconography and typefaces reference a nostalgic past of market stalls and honest, homemade products. The bright colour palette conveys a friendly tone that is echoed in organic shapes and informal copy. Contemporary vector illustrations, which draw inspiration from traditional botanical artworks, hint at Airborne’s standing as a technical leader in the local honey industry.
The brand aesthetic and tone is extended to a compact, company profile, which uses product and abstracted nature photography to communicate the pure, undamaged quality of Airborne’s honey products.
